- October 1, 2022 - Update Bill AB-2043 has been signed into law and will go into effect in 2023.
- Below in PDF format is Bill AB-2043 which pertains to new regulations proposed for the bail bond fugitive recovery profession in the state of California. NAFRA President Chuck Jordan has been in discussions with Assembly Member Jones-Sawyer concerning some changes that we are recommending as we believe that the Bill as it's currently written would place some onerous and unnecessary burdens on our members.
