Apprentice Membership
Information
In 2017 an apprentice category of membership was established to allow those that are looking to enter the profession to join the association, and receive a listing in the SkipNet directory for their state with an apprentice designation notated on their listing.
The benefit to aspiring fugitive recovery agents is that it provides valuable exposure that can help connect them with experienced fugitive recovery agents for the purpose of mentoring. The benefit to the industry is that proper mentoring of new fugitive recovery agents will help ensure a higher level of professional standards.
Apprentice members are issued member registration numbers that begin with the letter A. Member registration numbers are recorded under the member profile in our national registry and listed on the certificate of membership as well as on the photo member identification card.
NOTE: We are currently accepting apprentice members, however we reserve the right to limit the number of apprentice members joining each calendar year to ensure that each apprentice member has the best opportunity to partner with a mentor. In the event that we discontinue additional apprentice memberships for the year, a notice will be posted on the home page and we will provide the option of registering for the waiting list for the following year.
